ABOUT THIS BOOK
Description
Within a short time, they arrived at their palace. They stepped out beautifully and headed into the house toward Princess Rumaah's quarters, while the attendants bowed sequentially, offering their greetings. They found her in the general parlor pacing back and forth, bubbling with excitement to see them. The moment they entered, she rushed over and embraced Maisoon with immense joy and a deep affection that she felt from the bottom of her heart; she truly loved Maisoon just as much as she loved Sheikh Sudais. Maisoon also hugged her tightly back, both of them beaming with happiness, completely at a loss for words. Sheikh Sudais and Prince Basam just stood there, watching them. Each of them was lost in different thoughts. As for Sheikh Sudais, you can't even begin to imagine the boundless joy in his heart at seeing his mother so happy with his wife; he had nothing to offer his Lord but gratitude, softly whispering, "Praise be to Allah, by whose grace good things are perfected."
They remained like that for nearly two minutes before Maisoon gathered the courage to say, "Mamey, hope we find you well?" Princess Rumaah could barely answer; she simply held Maisoon tighter for a few moments before pulling back. Gazing into her face, she said, "My daughter, may Allah bless you, Maisoon. May Allah gladden your heart just as you have gladdened ours. In my life, neither His Royal Highness nor I had any greater desire than to see Sheikh get married and see his offspring in this world. But that never happened until you came along, because he flatly refused to marry any girl, let alone talk about having children. Little did we know he was waiting to bring us a virtuous woman who could uphold his dignity anywhere. I am proud of you, my daughter. May Allah continue to protect you, your husband, and the entire Muslim Ummah from all evil," she concluded, her eyes welling with tears because Prince Junaid had already told her everything that happened in Saudi Arabia.
Maisoon's tears also flowed freely like an open tap. With difficulty, she managed to open her mouth and reply, "Amen, Mamey." Princess Rumaah smiled, held her hand, and lovingly sat her down on a couch. Joyfully, she asked, "My daughter, how is this baby of yours and Basam's? I hope he isn't giving you a hard time?" she asked playfully and cheerfully. Maisoon quickly covered her face with both palms, bowing her head onto her lap. Princess Rumaah burst into laughter and turned toward Sheikh Sudais and Prince Basam, who had been standing there admiring the scene. She said, "Basam, you need to caution your brother, because if he stresses my girl, he will have to answer to His Royal Highness Muhammad Bilal." Hearing this, Maisoon was overcome with even more shyness, while Prince Basam laughed and said, "Oh, Mamey, we beg for your leniency. He won't stress her at all because our baby is very special." Only then did she turn to smile at Sheikh Sudais, saying, "Is that right, Abbey's Sheikh?"
He puckered his handsome face slightly, stroking the smooth beard framing his jawline before replying, "How should I know? Since I've practically become a stranger, pushed to the side and discriminated against while you pamper this pale girl." Princess Rumaah's eyes widened and she countered, "You have the nerve to say that to my daughter? You're the pale one, you and this younger brother of yours!" she said, throwing a throw pillow at them. Prince Basam caught it, laughing. Sheikh Sudais turned around, saying, "My brother, let's go see Abbey since we clearly aren't wanted here. As for you, we will settle our scores later," he concluded, winking at Maisoon. Princess Rumaah quickly stood up, saying, "What are you going to do to her, blessed child? You'll have to go through me first." Seeing her get up, Sheikh Sudais quickly made his exit with a chuckle, with Prince Basam close behind him. Princess Rumaah sat back down next to Maisoon and ordered her attendants to fill the table before her with all kinds of assorted delicacies. She personally began feeding Maisoon while engaging her in conversation. Although Maisoon felt shy at first, she eventually opened up, and they continued their pleasant chat, showering each other with love and affection as if they weren't mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. It was late in the evening when she personally escorted her back to their quarters before leaving. Maisoon watched her leave, feeling a deep love for her that mirrored what she felt for her own mom. Princess Rumaah possessed none of the arrogance typical of royal women; she had no worries of her own—her son's happiness was her only concern, and if he loved something, she loved it even more. Maisoon let out a sigh and said, "What a wonderful mother. May Allah grant me the ability to be a wonderful mother to my own children." "Amen, ya Allah, my Buttey," she heard the Sheikh's voice whisper right into her ear. She hadn't even realized he was in the house. She quickly turned, and their eyes locked. Her eyes widened slightly and she opened her mouth to speak, but he denied her the chance by quickly pressing his lips against hers, scooping her up in his arms and carrying her straight to his bedroom. The moment they entered, they became completely wild for each other like people possessed. They didn't stop until they had fully consummated their time together, after which he picked up his beloved and they headed to the bathroom.
As time went on, the love between Sheikh Sudais and Maisoon blossomed intensely, turning into a beautiful, headline-worthy romance; they were inseparable, like a pair of lovebirds. Meanwhile, her pregnancy continued to advance, and Princess Rumaah, along with His Royal Highness King Muhammad Bilal, showered her with exceptional care. At the slightest development, the king would ask, "Rumaah, how is my daughter?" Similarly, if Maisoon so much as took a deep breath, Princess Rumaah would anxiously ask, "Is everything alright, baby? What do you need?" As for her husband, his attentiveness went without saying; despite his own strong physical desires, he had to exercise restraint given how heavy her pregnancy had become and how selective she had gotten with her food. She was now about eight months and a few days pregnant, but Sheikh Sudais never pressured her, because one look at her would make anyone think she was due to give birth at any moment. Although they had shared very few intimate moments since returning from Nigeria, he couldn't bring himself to bother her because he felt immense pity for her.
It was during this period that Prince Junaid called her to report that Hajiya Rukayya Dikko and her friends had been taken to court and sentenced to 35 years in prison. Furthermore, the judge requested to see her family, and both Yaseer and Alhaji Dikko had to attend. Yaseer wept bitterly, expressing deep regret that a woman who was his own mother could possess such evil traits. Alhaji Dikko also wept out of sheer humiliation at seeing his wife in such a shameful state in a foreign country that was not their own, and he divorced her on the spot, severing all ties with her for good. Yaseer attempted to help her since, regardless of everything, she was still his mother, but a lawyer advised him against it, warning that if he made any such attempt, the sentence could become even more severe, given how strict Saudi laws are. He noted that they were actually fortunate the culprits weren't caught red-handed committing an act of explicit indeency, as that would have carried the death penalty. He added that if Yaseer truly wanted to help her, he would first need to find an influential figure within Saudi Arabia to intervene. Hearing this, Yaseer wept and gave up all hope for his mother, since he knew no one and had no connections. Maisoon let out a deep sigh after listening to Prince Junaid's explanation and said, "I will help her, Junaid, but not just yet. She needs to learn her lesson thoroughly first, so that even when she eventually comes out, she will never dream of harming anyone again." "Alright, Princess, whatever you decide shall be done." "Thank you, Junaid. What about Captain Suraj and his men?" "They are currently in the disciplinary cell, Aunty." "What? Goodness, Junaid, why would you do that?" "I am very sorry, Aunty. I just felt it was appropriate so that in the future, even if they see anyone who looks like you, they won't dare treat them with disrespect." "Oh my god, please have them released immediately, Junaid! Those poor men do not deserve such a punishment because they are trustworthy officers. Everything they did from beginning to end was done to protect the integrity of your household and your lives. If they hadn't conducted that investigation, criminals could have easily breached your security. Please, have them released immediately, for Allah's sake, and apologize to them on my behalf. Also, reward them handsomely and promote them, because they are incredibly dedicated to their duty," she said, sounding fatigued, as she could no longer endure long conversations. Junaid fell silent for a moment, deeply admiring Maisoon's character. He knew that everything she said was absolutely true. To himself, he thought, "She is tough and takes no nonsense, yet she is so compassionate and possesses the traits of truly noble people. Truly, Yah Sheikh, you have been blessed with an exceptional wife." As soon as he concluded his thoughts, he headed straight to where Captain Suraj and his men were being held to carry out her instructions.
