Sartse Part 1 Complete Hausa Novel

Jigawa State is one of the states created under the military regime of General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida on August 27, 1991. The state was excised from the old Kano State and was named "Jigawa," which means a hilly or sandy land—a prominent topographical feature of the region.
The state comprises a combination of five (5) major emirates with ancient histories, which include: Hadejia, Kazaure, Gumel, Ringim, and Dutse. This makes the state a hub for diverse cultures of the Hausa, Fulani, and Mangawa people. The state is nicknamed "The New World" due to the vision set forth to build it into a self-reliant state in terms of agriculture and commerce.
Dutse Local Government
Dutse is a city with a long history in Hausaland. The original name of the town came from the large rocks and hills that dominate the area. Before the creation of Jigawa State in 1991, Dutse was under Kano State and was one of the old, highly respected districts.
The city has a strong traditional monarchy, namely the Dutse Emirate, where the king of the town is addressed as the "Sarkin Dutse." History shows that the early settlers lived near these hills to find protection from enemies during times of war.
Geographic Size and Location on the Nigerian Map
Dutse is located in the North-Eastern part of Nigeria. On the map of Jigawa State, Dutse is located in the south-central part of the state. It is not an extremely vast city like Kano or Kaduna, but it is developing rapidly as a result of being the state capital.
The climate of the town is very hot during the dry season, followed by a piercing cold during the harmattan due to the surrounding hills and its proximity to the desert region.
Occupations of the Inhabitants
The people of Dutse are predominantly Hausa and Fulani, therefore their occupations include:
Farming: This is the main backbone, especially the cultivation of millet, sorghum, beans, and rice in areas where water is available.
Livestock Rearing: Seeing that there is a large Fulani population in the area, the rearing of cattle and goats is a highly significant occupation.
Commerce: There are major markets where agricultural produce is traded.
Civil Service: As the state capital, there are numerous civil servants and students (especially due to the Federal University Dutse - FUD).
