ABOUT THIS BOOK
Description
“Indeed, if there is no Mubben, then there is no life for Suhaimat, because your greatness and your worth in my heart keep increasing every day,” Suhaimat said as she looked at Mubben with love and longing.
Mubben smiled, blew lightly on her face, and said, “With that look, you might make me forget the way to my own house.”
Suhaimat said, “My everything, do you know something?”
“Of course I do, since our hearts are joined together,” Mubben replied, looking at her.
Suhaimat covered her face and laughed. Mubben fixed his eyes on her, full of desire and deep love, then began to speak.
“My happiness, laughter suits you so well. When you braid your hair, you look beautiful to me. When you are angry, you seem to glow even more. And when you laugh, I feel like I could die.”
Suhaimat smiled and said, “That is why I am proud to have you as the companion of my life. Truly, you are the fulfillment of my heart’s desire.”
“Then is there anyone luckier than me in this world?” Mubben said as he fed her some fruit.
Suhaimat opened her small mouth and he put it in for her. She closed her eyes and said, “Yes, there is.”
Quickly, Mubben said, “Where is he?”
Suhaimat burst into laughter and said, “He is right beside you.”
Mubben laughed too and said, “May Allah guide me for your sake.”
Suhaimat’s eyes filled with tears, and Mubben became completely unsettled, asking her what was wrong.
With weakness in her voice, Suhaimat began to speak, “Do not hurt the heart that has given you all its trust. Do not torment me with your love. Please, for Allah’s sake, have mercy on this innocent heart that knows nothing except the abundance of your love.”
Mubben’s body went cold, and he accepted the depth of Suhaimat’s love for him, because although all her admirers rode luxury cars, he only had a cheap motorcycle. Yet she chose him over all the others.
Suhaimat gazed into his eyes full of love. “If I ever upset you, please forgive me. I will not do it again,” Suhaimat said as she held her ears.
Mubben said, “You can never do wrong in my eyes. I only wonder how you love me so much even though I have nothing. And I know you are far above my level, far beyond my strength, yet you accepted me just as I am.”
Filled with displeasure, Suhaimat began to speak, “Love has nothing to do with money, power, position, or even beauty.”
Mubben picked up the cold water placed before them and opened it to give her, but she turned her face away.
“I’m sorry, I won’t say it again,” Mubben said as he offered her the water a second time, but Suhaimat turned away again.
Mubben looked pitiful. “Please, do not punish me this way. I swear my heart cannot bear your anger.”
Suhaimat opened her mouth and he gave her the water. Once he saw that she had calmed down, he placed the bottle aside.
They spent a long time talking before he carried her home on his motorcycle. Even there, they stayed together for a while before he left, and she waved her hand at him as he went.
