ABOUT THIS BOOK
Description
He concluded his statement with sorrow, while Abbu smiled a reassuring, knowing smile and said:
"Oh, Hafeez... May Allah make it easy for us, because this matter is beyond my control."
"Baba, I can't help but feel sorry for Boss, while praying that Allah looks into his situation. I truly pity him; his mother left him behind, and he gets no care whatsoever from his wife—just that devilish, useless jealousy of hers." He wrapped up his words, feeling deep sympathy for his boss.
Abbu remained silent, as he too felt sorry for Deen. He collected his food and said goodbye to Hafeez. Deen headed straight to his apartment, his heart burning with rage over how Nabila treated him however she pleased in front of everyone. He wondered at himself, at how he couldn't speak up to her or even scold her. He knew he felt pity for her due to many reasons, but honestly, it was getting out of hand.
The ringing of his phone prompted him to answer without saying a word. After listening to what the caller had to say, he took a deep breath and said, "Okay, meet me at my office." As soon as he finished speaking, he hung up.
He stood up and went into the toilet. After twenty minutes, he emerged with a towel wrapped around his waist and headed straight for his closet. He stepped out dressed in a white t-shirt and black Fendi jeans, topped off with a black cap over his soft hair and a Rolex watch on his wrist. He then put on his black Gucci sneakers. Grabbing his car keys, he headed out. He walked straight to the parking lot, got into one of the black cars, reversed out, and drove out of the compound.
