A Difficult Birth
Daneen was born into a world full of hardship. Her mother, Inna-wuro, endured immense pain during childbirth, but she was determined to bring her child into the world safely. Unfortunately, her father, Alhaji Baita, did not want her. He had no interest in the baby and even refused to name her. It was her grandmother, Dada, who finally gave her the name Daneen.
A Tough Childhood
From the moment she was born, Daneen faced rejection. Her father never acknowledged her, and her mother had to struggle to take care of her alone. Dada, who controlled the household, treated both Inna-wuro and Daneen poorly, showing them no kindness. The only source of love in Daneen’s life was her mother, who did everything she could to ensure her daughter’s survival.
Abandoned and Alone
Life took a turn for the worse when Alhaji Baita divorced Inna-wuro and sent her away with their children. He wanted nothing to do with them, leaving them to fend for themselves. With nowhere else to go, Inna-wuro returned to her parents' home, where she faced even more difficulties. Her stepmother, Dada, made life unbearable, constantly criticizing her and refusing to support her or Daneen.
A Mother’s Determination
Despite the challenges, Inna-wuro was determined to provide for her children. She started a small business selling food in the local market.
