My attention was on the WhatsApp messages coming in when I saw Aisha message me:
"Adda, how are things at home and school?"
"Everything is fine, Alhamdulilah, we thank God. How are you?" I replied to her.
"I have come with a wondrous story that I want you to write for the world to see and benefit from, since I see you accept stories like this. I hope I haven't burdened you."
"Not at all, Aisha, but I am currently taking my exams. As soon as I finish, I will look for you so you can pass across this message you want to share. Insha Allah, I will write it so everyone can read and benefit."
"No problem, may God bring us safely to that day, I am waiting."
Just as we had agreed and I had promised her, today, upon finishing my exams, I messaged Aisha so she could tell me the story she wanted everyone to hear—a story filled with wonder, disappointment, annoyance, and lessons within it, which will make every reader realize that the world is not something to lose your mind over. Truly, the world is a school.
This story does not come from just one person's mouth; every single person who had a hand in the life of this female servant of Allah was brought together, and we were satisfied before I began writing. May the Almighty Allah grant me a successful beginning and a successful end, may He forgive our mistakes, and may He guide all parents like Kaulat's, those who live like Kaulat. Perhaps the reader will see something that does not satisfy them, but know this: I did not add a SINGLE word to the story; it happened in reality. And the person whose story I am telling has passed away. May the Almighty Allah have mercy on her, grant her His grace, and bring light to her grave. Furthermore, it was the wish of the deceased that this story be written to advise the world and all parents.

Her name is Kaulat Adams, popularly known as Kaule, a native of Ilorin. Her father, Alhaji Adams, was a very wealthy man, but he lacked contentment of the heart—meaning he did not care for or support his family. He was the kind of rich man in whom you see wealth, with a house and cars, yet his family lived in poverty, with each of his wives fending for herself and her children.
Her mother was from Niger State, and Kaule was her firstborn. Alhaji Adams was the one who converted her to Islam and married her.
