Muhsin is the son of a king in the Eastern region of the Lumai Kingdom. Despite being the prince of a powerful realm, Muhsin struggles with a mysterious cognitive condition—his mind refuses to retain or express anything he reads. No matter how much he studies, when it comes time to write or answer questions, his brain seems to lock up, rendering him helpless. Yet, he has a burning passion to become a writer, dreaming of one day authoring powerful stories, even though he hasn’t been able to write a single letter down.
 
Unknown to Muhsin, his life is silently watched over by Na’eema, a Jinniya (female Jinn) from a noble spiritual lineage. She fell deeply in love with him when he was only five years old. Since then, she has constantly appeared in his dreams, offering him comfort, care, and deep affection, though he believes she is just a figment of his imagination. He doesn’t know she truly exists and has been helping him in unseen ways, even begging her powerful spiritual parents to heal him.
 
One day, Muhsin breaks down in tears beneath a tree outside the city where he often goes to think and attempt writing. Na’eema appears to console him. Just as she prepares to enter his spirit once more to communicate her love in his dream, her mother, Ummy, arrives in anger. Ummy reveals that they have been searching for her across the entire spiritual realm. Na’eema is dragged back home to face her parents and finds her entire family waiting—including King Shadad, ruler of the Jinn realm.
 
To her horror, King Shadad and his son, Prince Haiman, have come to ask for Na’eema’s hand in marriage. Her father, a noble and religious spiritual scholar, agrees to the proposal without even asking her opinion. Na’eema is shattered. Despite knowing that Prince Haiman truly loves her and is willing to wait a lifetime for her heart, she confesses to him—through bitter tears—that her heart belongs to another: Muhsin, a human.
 
Prince Haiman is devastated, but he remains composed and respectful. He tells her he will still marry her and wait patiently for her love, even if it takes forever. Meanwhile, Na’eema is left broken and torn. Her desire to please her parents clashes with the deep, unwavering love she has for Muhsin.
 
Now, she’s faced with the impossible choice: marry the Jinn prince and abandon her human love, or rebel against the wishes of her powerful family—risking banishment or worse.
