ABOUT THIS BOOK

Description

He stood up angrily and headed for the door upon hearing the relentless pounding on it.

The woman pushed the door open forcefully just as it unlocked, stumbling inward unexpectedly. She fell straight onto Razhdeen, and they both crashed onto the carpet with her lying on top of him. She quickly lifted her head and looked at him while he stared back at her; both remained motionless, locked in each other's gaze. It took a few seconds before she snapped out of it, scrambling off him in panic and frustration.

Surprisingly, Pinky and Rukky had followed the woman after seeing her leave. They had a security guard drive them there in a car, but they stopped at the gate and walked into the compound on foot. Standing right at the entrance of Razhdeen's living room, they witnessed the woman falling on top of Razhdeen. Pinky quickly whipped out her phone and recorded a video as well as snapped photos, then pulled Rukky by the hand and fled without waiting to see what would happen next, thrilled to have obtained a weapon for mischief. They returned to the waiting security guard outside, got into the car, and left full of joy.

Pinky and Rukky were determined to break up the marriage between Roshan and the woman. They knew Razhdeen had no intention of marrying her; their sole goal was to get her out of the family and ruin her reputation with Abbah.

As Razhdeen prepared to get up, the woman threw the bag containing the gift shirt onto his chest and snapped, "Whether you are Razhdeen or whoever else, listen to me: I am out of your league, I swear! Are you framing me just to separate me from my husband? What have I ever done to you? Why are you trying to interfere in my life? You falsely accused me of adultery—something I have never committed in my entire life—just to split me from my husband! You keep bringing up a hotel—who were you planning to meet at that hotel anyway? Well, let me tell you, going to hotels with girls might be your own habit, but I am not like that. I am not an adulteress like you! Razhdeen, stay out of my business and stay away from me. I want nothing from you, so get out of my way. I hate you, I swear!"

As soon as she finished speaking, she turned to leave, but he quickly grabbed her hand, pulled her back, and pinned her against his chest. At that exact moment, Yar Amana walked into the living room dressed neatly for school with her bag strapped on her back. What she witnessed made her step back in shock, her eyes wide as she pressed herself against the curtain, clutching it tightly while trembling as she stared at them.
