ABOUT THIS BOOK
Description
From where she sat inside the car, she could see the tall building of the estate—a house that, even without being told, you would instantly call a royal palace due to its design, beauty, scale, and height. In all the years since she last saw it, absolutely nothing significant had changed about its architectural structure, except for the paint and a few minor details. If her calculations were correct, today made it at least fifteen years since she last parted with this kingdom, which held such a dark history for her.
How could she even forget the years, when every tragedy and struggle she faced in life was caused by this kingdom? It was the kingdom that carried the DESTINY of her life within it, the kingdom that changed her life story, the kingdom that looked just like a prison in her eyes. It was a kingdom built on tyrannical rule in reality, while deceiving and misleading people with false virtues—a kingdom completely devoid of mercy, let alone compassion.
All at once, she used the back of her hand to wipe away the tears that dropped from her eyes. The young man sitting beside her, who could not be less than 30 years old, shook his head slightly and exhaled slowly.
The Warning
Suddenly, he uttered, "Hibbah, if only you would take my advice and drop this plan of yours. Forget everything and entrust your affairs to Allah; He will surely avenge you. I am certain that after what they did to you and your parents, Allah will not leave them be; by God, He will vindicate you. So please, drop this plan of yours... Worldly power does not last forever; they too will pass away one day, just as your parents did. So please, drop this plan of yours...!" he concluded with deep concern.
The young woman, who was around 29 years old, gave a painful smile and said:
"Ansar, by God, by God, I will not drop my plan. By God, I will humiliate them in the eyes of the world. I will destroy the tyrannical rule they practice. I will show the world what kind of people they truly are. By God, I won't just leave them be. Now is the perfect time for me to return—right at the moment they have lost their father. I am certain they will begin a war for succession now, and I will exploit this opportunity!"
She spoke with intense passion, looking at Ansar, before turning her gaze back to the palace building. At the same time, she let out another painful smile and began to say:
"Family of King AbdulJabbar, I have returned to you. However, this time, I didn't return as Saudatu—the dark, ugly, and despised girl. Muhibbah—I have returned as Muhibbah, the one you will love. Prepare to welcome your downfall, your distress, and your torment. I will become your disaster and your plague; I will become your hunger and your food, just as I will become your thirst and your drinking water. I'll take you down to the ground, all of you... one by one. By God, I will throw you into turmoil and a miserable life, far worse than what you threw me and my parents into. By God, I will shatter you along with every bit of power and royalty you boast of. It's a promise!!!" She finished, shaking off more tears that cascaded down her cheeks.
The Arrival
As they sat there in the car by the side of the tarred road where Ansar had parked, they began to hear the sound of a siren. The entire neighborhood erupted with noise as people scrambled out of the way to clear the road. You could see luxury cars approaching the grand gate of the palace, each vehicle bearing the license plate of the Jos Emirate Council.
There was a massive man dressed in the red attire of the palace guards, wielding a giant leather whip outwards, driving people back and shouting, "Make way, children of commoners! The Crown Prince, the HEIR APPARENT, has arrived at his homeland."
She looked at Ansar and repeated what the palace courtier was shouting. "The Crown Prince, the Heir Apparent...?" she asked, her voice laced with questioning doubt.
Ansar nodded his head at her and said, "From what I heard, the arrival of the eldest son of the late King AbdulJabbar is expected today. That is, Prince Mahmood AbdulJabbar Mahmood. He is the eldest among the King's children. It looks like he has arrived, as his return from Madrid, Spain, was anticipated today."
