ABOUT THIS BOOK

Description

A beautiful young lady called Teemah bit her lips, filled with annoyance that LAYLERH would not turn around. In a low voice, she said,
“Wallahi, Laylerh, you are very stubborn. You know very well that I am not good at maths. Instead of sitting near me, you went and sat in another seat, hmm.”
She snorted softly and glared at Teacher David under her breath. In her heart she said,
“Useless old wizard. He just loves giving assignments and tests, as if they told him everyone understands this demon-like mathematics of theirs. You will see, wallahi. I will draw you with skeleton ears and put empty holes under them.”
She smiled and began writing zero zero on her paper.
As for Laylerh, she deliberately refused to turn around, because she knew that if she did, Teemah would not leave her alone, and no matter what they did, Teacher David would seize their papers.
Laylerh slowly narrowed her eyes after finishing reading the questions. A certain thought began creeping into her mind. Gradually, her mood began to change. Her heart started pounding hard, while her breathing became heavier. She placed her hand where she felt her body tighten and shut her eyes again. Her whole body began to tremble, and a strange sweat broke out all over her.
Then, slowly and gently, the image of a pair of intensely beautiful eyes began floating before her own eyes. Her lips started trembling.
She wanted to say what was in her heart and soul. There was only one word she had always wanted to utter, but until now she had not found the chance.
Indeed, she loved him. She wanted to know who owned those beautiful, captivating eyes. Why did he keep entering her thoughts all the time? She did not know him, and she did not know where she would find him. There was only one thing she could understand as a young woman who was now struggling to keep control of herself: this thing was the beating of the heart. She was certain that many times she was not acting with her mind, and that the rhythm of her heart moved because of one thing alone.
Joy, or its opposite; fear, or anxiety; weakness, and a great deal of destiny—how was she supposed to bear all of that? She did not want her heart to be shattered because of this.
