ABOUT THIS BOOK
Description
The Wrath of the Storm and the Supernatural Sea
A gentle monsoon breeze was blowing as dark rain clouds laid siege to the sky.
The clouds turned pitch-black, a clear sign of Allah’s power, and heavy rain began to fall.
Even the vast ocean, usually immeasurable in size, seemed filled to the brim and overflowing.
Water rushed violently, roaring with force, as though it had already descended from faraway places beyond the river’s source.
A terrifying thunder-like sound echoed, shaking the entire sky.
At that moment, strange beings appeared, surrounding the river from above.
Among them were enormous jinn encircling the waters.
Suddenly, a blinding light like a flash of lightning appeared in their midst.
One winged jinn, holding a basket in his hand, released it into the raging waters.
Banjammmm!
The basket plunged deep beneath the ocean, sinking into its terrifying depths, accompanied by many dreadful and horrifying phenomena.
The Cry of the Child and the Jinn’s Rebellion
The basket landed upon a massive iron cage beneath the sea.
Immediately, the baby inside cried out, just as the basket opened and tipped over.
The infant fell onto the iron cage, tightly bound with extremely strong chains—chains so tough that even a metal-cutting machine would struggle to break them, let alone a human or a jinn.
The baby cried again, kicking her tiny legs.
Drip! Her tears fell onto the iron cage.
At once, the cage emitted a strange sound and shattered like molten metal, as though fire had passed through it from beneath the earth, turning solid iron into soft rubber.
An elderly jinn suddenly appeared, bound in chains.
At the exact moment the baby’s second tear fell upon the chains around him, they shattered completely.
With great urgency, he rushed to grab the infant who was sinking deeper beneath the ocean floor.
The sea erupted into chaos, filled with terrifying and dreadful movements.
The river boiled violently, like molten metal being heated.
The once gentle breeze turned scorching hot.
Panic had no limits—this disturbance went beyond the river region; the entire world trembled.
Creatures in the sea began to die.
Animals in the surrounding forests perished—some died instantly, others collapsed, struggling in the throes of death.
That day became a black and disastrous day for sorcerers, magicians, witches, and idol worshippers across the world.
In Mali, a sorcerer jolted in terror as his charm pots exploded, releasing horrifying smoke and sounds.
Overwhelmed by fear, he collapsed unconscious—just as it happened to every other idol worshipper worldwide.
With great determination, the elder jinn Matip secured the baby, knelt beneath the sea, and plunged his hand forcefully into the ocean floor.
His body convulsed violently, smoke pouring from him as though burning charcoal were being poured onto his flesh.
He roared and pulled out his hand, tightly gripping what he had extracted.
His body shook as he cried out in the thunderous voice of the jinn:
“I alone will bear the punishment—do not oppress the innocent who see nothing and know nothing!
What crime have righteous humans and animals committed?
What wrong did innocent jinn do?
As long as I breathe, I will never allow harm to befall anyone.
You only destroy yourselves and the humans who follow you, spreading corruption on earth.
None of you will be spared!”
He crushed the boiling pot he had pulled from beneath the sea, black smoke pouring out until it shattered in his hand, instantly triggering a flood.
Exhausted, Matip collapsed.
The baby slipped from his grasp and fell deeper beneath the sea.
He watched helplessly—too weak to save her.
His body trembled violently, burned by the mystical fire released from the shattered pot.
With eyes half-closed in pain, he watched the very child whose existence had freed him from years of oppression now facing death before him.
Two voices echoed in his ears, saying:
“Leader has been freed… the leader has been freed.”
With great difficulty, he whispered:
“Save her… do not let her perish.”
Calm Restored and the Discovery by Humans
Within moments, the sea calmed.
Creatures that had fainted regained consciousness.
The world returned to normal, the fear and terror fading as though nothing had happened.
The scorching wind softened into a cool, pleasant breeze.
A vehicle sped along the road, its occupants eager to reach home before floodwaters blocked the way.
Driving was a dignified elderly man of commanding presence, while beside him sat a beautiful fair-skinned woman, around thirty years old, calm and composed.
This was Alhaji Abubakar Fiya, a renowned wealthy businessman and one of the country’s elite.
He personally drove the car—a habit he maintained whenever traveling with his beloved wife, Hajiya Fatima, even on long journeys.
They approached the Matip River bridge.
Hajiya Fatima stared at the raging river, which roared and surged as if it might leap over the bridge.
Suddenly, a strange light appeared ahead, then faded.
“Daddy, look over there!” she said urgently.
They saw a basket floating on the water, carrying a crying baby, her tiny legs kicking.
“Daddy, the water will carry her away! Please stop—let’s save her!” she cried.
Alhaji Abubakar parked quickly and they rushed out.
Despite warnings from a fisherman about the danger, he leapt into the water and retrieved the basket.
They all stared in shock at the baby inside.
She was extraordinarily beautiful—so beautiful that anyone who saw her would be stunned.
With a trembling voice, Hajiya Fatima asked,
“Is she even human?”
Alhaji Abubakar replied uncertainly,
“I’m thinking the same… perhaps we should return her to the water. Maybe she belongs there.”
He raised his voice toward the river:
“We meant no harm by taking your child. We only feared for her life. Please forgive us—we will return her immediately.”
Turning to the fisherman, he said:
“Help us return her and apologize to them. We never meant to interfere.”
