ABOUT THIS BOOK

Description

All the handsome young men gathered at the house of Alhaji ABDULHAMID ME NASARA. There were five of them in total: Abdul, Mus'af's younger brother; Muhsin, who is also Mus'af's younger brother; while Mus'af himself couldn't make it as he was in the hospital and hadn't been discharged yet due to his condition worsening. Then there were Uncle ABDULHAMID's three sons: the first is Fahat, followed by Zaidu, and the third, their youngest, named Faruq. Together, they all headed to G.G.S.S Dorayi for a visit. They traveled in a convoy of 15 cars, riding in the two vehicles situated right in the middle.

As soon as the siren went off, the school gate was opened for them. Meanwhile, ever since Nafisa heard that Alhaji ABDULHAMID ME NASARA had arrived, she composed herself and watched where the cars were heading; they drove straight to the parking space and parked. It took nearly 5 minutes before the car doors opened for them to step out. Oh goodness, people, you should have seen the sight among the female students and teachers—it was truly something to behold!

A lonely tear, overflowing with love and affection, began to trickle from Nafisa's eyes simply out of her intense love for Alhaji ABDULHAMID. Indeed, today God fulfilled her dream to see her hero, the man she had desired to meet for so long.

Fateema stood watching her and said, "I'm in trouble, Nafisa. What kind of love is this for a man? Even before you knew you would see him, your heart fell in love with him in just a few seconds, simply from hearing stories about him. Is this kind of love really okay, Nafisa?"

"Uhm! You wouldn't understand, Fateema. Love for him is in my blood. For God's sake, Fateema, I want to stand next to him and touch him, maybe then my heart will find some relief."

"Are you out of your mind?" she asked, her eyes wide with shock. "Do you even know who he is? Nafisa, or are you in love with him and want to marry him?"

"Marry him? Can't you see he's old enough to be my father? Please stop talking like that. Didn't you see his children?"

"Oh, so what if he is? If you love him enough to marry him—"

"No, that's not what I mean. My only DREAM is just to hug him."

While they were still talking, before they could even finish, they heard the sudden sound of gunfire echoing from every direction, accompanied by the sirens of military vehicles—it was quite a spectacular sight. All the students fixed their eyes on the scene to see who was coming. As for Alhaji ABDULHAMID, he was overjoyed to see that his beloved had gotten up and even attended the gathering.

The vehicles parked, and the door was opened. Immediately, he stepped out with his fair, well-groomed, and clean leg, which shone like milk due to its brightness and luster. Without waiting any longer, he pulled out his white sunglasses, put them on, and stepped fully out. Wow, Masha Allah! Today he was dressed in a blue shadda tailored into a grand babbar riga that suited his body exquisitely. He was naturally fair and handsome, even though he had lost a bit of weight from his recent hospital stay.

From the moment he stepped out, people were exclaiming "Wow!", some were even swallowing hard, and others were nearly falling over from staring so intently, as if they wanted to consume him with their eyes. Walking with a majestic gait, he stepped forward with soldiers following behind him until they reached where Alhaji ABDULHAMID stood, gazing at his beloved filled with love and affection.

From there, the program of the event commenced. After everything was concluded, Alhaji ABDULHAMID presented them with various gifts, ranging from the teachers to the students.

Afterward, they headed toward the parking space along with the other teachers. Nafisa, standing next to Fateema, pleaded, "Please, let's go! Look, they are about to leave, come with me!"

"Swear to God, I'm not going!"

By the time Fateema turned around, she spotted Nafisa already in front of Alhaji ABDULHAMID, throwing herself into his arms.

"Innalillahi wa'inna ilaihirraji'un (Surely we belong to Allah and to Him we shall return), she has brought trouble upon herself!" Fateema cried out.

With swift aggressiveness, Mus'af grabbed her by the hand, pulled her away, locked eyes with her, and snapped, "Are you in your right mind?"

Nafisa glared at him, snatched her hand back, and clung even tighter to Alhaji ABDULHAMID. Furious at the glare she gave him, Mus'af yanked her back again and slapped her hard across the face—THWACK! She let out a piercing scream and violently grabbed the front of Mus'af's shirt.
