The Hidden People of Kuguru
 
Kuguru is a remote jungle village where ancient rituals dominate life. The people worship a giant idol, and each year five humans are sacrificed to feed it blood. Inhabitants live without modesty, wearing only skins or leaves. Girls are married off annually during their sacred festival, and any albino child born is boiled and served to the king. Their ruler, Ja'e's father, is ruthless, and his son shares his cold nature.
 
Tenkwai's Curiosity and Courage
 
Tenkwai, a bold young woman, questions the traditions. One day while fetching water with her friends, she sees something unusual in the river—a stranger, unconscious and wounded. Despite the risks, she saves him, hides him in the forest, and treats his wounds.
 
Lamunde, her guardian, and others panic when they learn of Tenkwai's actions. Suhail, the stranger, eventually regains consciousness. He claims to be a Muslim from the city, shocked by the tribal village and its cruel ways. His resemblance to Tenkwai sparks rumors—could he be from their bloodline?
 
Secrets and Lineage
 
Lamunde reveals a shocking truth: Tenkwai is not her biological child. Suhail might be related to the royal family, as identified by a birthmark. The elders recall that Suhail's grandfather was a just king betrayed by his wicked vizier (Ja'e's ancestor). This betrayal led to blood rituals becoming normalized in Kuguru. Suhail's appearance may be tied to restoring justice.
 
Suhail's Resolve and the Urban Contrast
 
Disgusted by village filth and suffering, Suhail vows to bring change. He bathes, prays, and resolves to leave, but the people plead with him to stay and help. He agrees—determined to break the cycle.
 
Elsewhere, in the modern world, Jeddah and Afra plot to manipulate Suhail's wealthy family. Jeddah tries to win over Suhail's family but secretly maintains a relationship with Ahmad. She lies and runs away with him, only to be caught up in scandal and guilt. Meanwhile, Afra encourages deceit, but tension brews between them.
 
Climax and Realizations
 
Eventually, Jeddah's lies catch up with her. Suhail learns of her betrayal but handles it quietly, focusing instead on his newfound roots and responsibility in Kuguru. He begins building bridges between the ancient village and the outside world, investing in its people and planning a way to abolish the blood rituals for good.
 
Through sacrifice, courage, and self-discovery, Tenkwai, Suhail, and even some city dwellers begin to unravel the centuries-old curse of Kuguru. The path forward is unclear, but hope glimmers on the horizon.
