Description

Akwai Lokaci Part 2 Complete Hausa Novel
Professor Hakeem returned to his bride’s room only to find it locked. No spare key. All four rooms were interconnected, and Husnah had sealed him out. With a quiet smirk, he retreated to his own room, showered, and tried to sleep—but her face kept invading his mind.
Unable to rest, he called Husnah. No answer.
He chuckled to himself, then dialed his best friend, Ahmad.
“Ango, what’s wrong this late?” Ahmad teased.
“She locked me out,” Hakeem growled. Ahmad burst into laughter.
“Husnah is something else!” he said. “You probably scared her with all your macho presence. She’s not like your past women, bro.”
Hakeem smiled, “She thinks she can hide forever. She’ll end up in my arms sooner than she thinks.”
“Take it easy,” Ahmad warned. “This one’s pure—handle her with care.”
The Secret Spies
Meanwhile, Laila—burning with jealousy—had overheard the whole call. Grinning, she ran to tell her mother, Hajiya Rukayya, and her sister Suby.
“Didn’t I tell you?” Suby gloated. “The herbalist said he would break them apart.”
Hajiya Rukayya nodded. “It’s working. We should double the payment.”
They laughed, convinced that Husnah had rejected Hakeem.
Husnah’s Spiritual Dawn
At 4:00 a.m., Husnah woke up peacefully, prayed Tahajjud, then Fajr, followed by Qur’an recitation. She removed her wedding gown, took a refreshing bath, and curled back under the sheets.
Later, Hakeem also prayed Fajr. Still locked out of her room, he sighed and returned to his.
A Taste of Sabotage
By 7:30 a.m., a maid arrived with breakfast from Mummy. Suby intercepted it at the door.
“Let me take it,” she said sweetly.
But instead of bringing it to Husnah, she took it to Laila and Hajiya Rukayya. Together, they laced the food—farfesu, kunun gyada, kosai—with potent herbs.
“This will teach her,” Laila smirked.
The Graceful New Bride
At 10:00 a.m., Husnah woke, cleaned her room until it sparkled, and dressed in a stunning dark blue super Holland gown with pink accents. A matching pink ribbon tied her hair, and pink accessories completed her elegant look.
She almost began breakfast—but remembered she hadn’t greeted Mummy yet. Grabbing her pink gyale, she stepped out.
Icy Stares in the Living Room
Passing through the family’s main lounge, she met Laila, Suby, and Hajiya Rukayya.
“Look who finally showed up,” Laila sneered.
“She thinks marrying into money makes her special,” Hajiya added.
“You look like a Fulani bush girl,” Suby muttered. “Going somewhere?”
Husnah replied with grace. “No. I’m home. We’re all enjoying Hakeem’s wealth, aren’t we?” She walked off, leaving them stunned.
A Warm Mother-in-Law
Husnah found Mummy in the main house and greeted her with humility. Mummy Hafsat smiled.
“This is your home, my daughter,” she said. “You should have come upstairs.”
Husnah lowered her eyes. “I didn’t want to disturb anyone.”
Mummy asked if she’d eaten. Just then, Professor Hakeem entered the room.
A Hungry, Playful Professor
Hakeem looked royal in his creamy shadda and matching hula. The moment his eyes fell on Husnah, his heart leapt. He greeted Mummy, who excused herself to pray Duha.
Left alone, he turned to Husnah with a mischievous smile.
“You haven’t eaten, baby?” he teased. “Looks like your belly is kissing your spine.”
Husnah squirmed shyly.
“Let me feed you.”
“No—I'll eat later.”
“No way.” He fetched food, filled a plate, and began feeding her bite by bite—farfesu, kosai, kunun gyada—until she nearly gagged.
Only then did he stop.
A Wife Who Cares
After the meal, Husnah offered to clear the dishes.
“I’ll do it,” she insisted. Hakeem nodded.
In the kitchen, she scrubbed the plates and wiped down every surface until it gleamed.
Mummy’s Surprised and Touched
When Mummy came downstairs, she saw the spotless kitchen and paused.
“Husnah… you did all this?”
“I’m used to it. I used to cook for my mother. Let me serve you too.”
Tears welled in Mummy’s eyes.
“Your parents raised you well,” she said softly. “May Allah bless your marriage.”
Husnah smiled. “Please don’t treat me like a guest. You’re my mother now.”
Mummy nodded. “Alright. But for this first week, just rest. Then, you can start cooking.”
The Calm Before the Storm
As the sun climbed higher, Husnah returned to her room unaware of the envy and malice brewing outside her door.
She had begun winning hearts—especially Hakeem’s and Mummy’s—with her soft nature and humility.
But the spell cast by her enemies still lingered. Will love overpower the darkness, or will jealousy strike again?
Time will tell.
