Description

Abduljabbar Part 1 Complete Hausa Novel

A Love That Hit Deep
"Oh Allah, Junainah, honestly that guy is perfect in every way. I like him. I want to be with him for the rest of my life." Amal said sincerely.
She sat up and faced her friend. "I won’t lie to you. I’ve never felt this way about any guy before. It’s like he just took over my heart all at once."
"Say something, Junainah," she urged.
Junainah only smiled and kept sucking her lollipop, not replying.
Amal frowned. "Didn’t you hear me? I’m talking and you’re just ignoring me like some little girl sucking on mint."
Junainah looked up calmly. "What do you want me to say, Amal? If it’s Abduljabarr, save yourself the heartache. He’s trouble."
"I know he might be tough, but I still want to try. Even if he mistreats me, I’ll endure. I really love him," Amal confessed.
"Good luck then. Hope it works out," Junainah replied, uninterested.
"Please, let’s go to Hibba’s garden. Maybe I’ll see him again. I saw him outside their house earlier."
"Go if you want. I’m not going," Junainah said bluntly.
Amal stood up, disappointed by her friend's coldness. Grabbing her handbag, she said sharply, "Thanks, Junainah. Whatever happens, it’s on me." And she walked away.
Junainah called after her. "Amal! Please, I’m sorry!" But Amal didn’t look back.

Regret and Reflection
Junainah felt uneasy all day. She couldn’t enjoy her lollipop anymore. Her mind stayed with Amal and the way they had parted.
The next morning, after her prayers, she picked up the Qur’an to recite. She tried to focus but thoughts of Amal kept returning.
Later, she entered her mother's room and cuddled beside her.
"Good morning, Dada," she greeted.
"Morning, daughter. What do you want now?"
"Nothing, I just want to feel my mother’s warmth," Junainah smiled.
"Okay, but I know you," her mother teased.
"I want to nap with you, Dada."
"You go ahead. I need to get ready. We have work today."
"Can I go to Amal’s house today, please?"
"No, you’re not going anywhere. You know I don’t like you being far from home."
"Please, Dada. I won’t stay long," she begged, even shaking her mom gently.
"Fine, go. But don’t stay out too long."
"Thank you, my lovely mother!" Junainah beamed.

A Sweet Escape
She grabbed a lollipop from the drawer, only for her mom to scold her.
"Didn’t I tell you to stop eating sweets so much? You haven’t even had breakfast!"
"It’s just one, Dada. Breakfast isn’t ready yet anyway," she said, pouting playfully.
"Alright, but hurry. I won’t wait for you."
Junainah quickly got ready, wearing a simple but elegant atampa. No makeup, yet her beauty shone. "I’m ready, Dada."
They ate breakfast, then got into their Corolla and left. At Amal’s house, her mother dropped her off.
"Be back by 12:30," she instructed.
"Thanks, Dada. See you soon."

Cold Shoulders
Inside Amal’s house, her mom welcomed her warmly. "Is that you, Junainah?"
"Yes, mummy. I hope everyone’s fine?"
"We’re all good. Your mom?"
"She sends her greetings."
"Go on in. Amal is inside."
Junainah entered and found Amal under a blanket on the bed, pretending to sleep.
"Wake up, Amal! I’m here. Are you really sleeping this much?"
Amal opened her eyes and, seeing Junainah, turned away coldly.
"Go back where you came from," she muttered.
"Amal, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to upset you yesterday."
"Then why did you dismiss my feelings like they meant nothing?"
"I was wrong, okay? I just didn’t want you to get hurt," Junainah admitted.

Silence.
"Please, Amal. Don’t shut me out."
Finally, Amal sighed and sat up. "I just really like him, Junainah. Maybe more than I should. I know he might not even notice me, but I can’t help how I feel."

Crossing Paths Again
Junainah and Amal spent the morning together. Later, they went for a walk and fate played its hand—Abduljabarr was outside with friends, laughing.
Amal froze. Her heart raced. He looked even better today.
"Go talk to him," Junainah teased.
"No way! I’ll embarrass myself."
But Abduljabarr’s eyes briefly met Amal’s, and he nodded politely. Just that tiny gesture made her entire day.
"Did you see that? He noticed me!" Amal squealed.
"Relax, you don’t even know if he remembers you."
"I don’t care. This is a good sign. I just know it," Amal insisted.

Dreams and Doubts
That night, Amal couldn’t sleep. She kept replaying that moment in her mind.
The next few days were filled with silent prayers and hopeful daydreams. Every little sighting of Abduljabarr meant the world to her.
But reality wasn’t as generous. He never stopped to speak to her. Never smiled again. Just passed by.
Still, Amal clung to her hope.
"I know one day he’ll notice me properly. I feel it."
Junainah remained skeptical, but supportive.
"Just don’t let this consume you. You’re worth more than waiting endlessly."

Hope Unshaken
No matter how much Junainah warned her, Amal’s feelings didn’t fade.
Each morning, she woke up wishing that today would be the day Abduljabarr finally spoke to her.
Even if it never came, the love in her heart stayed strong.
