Zynah Part 1 Complete Hausa Novel
In an elegant room that resembles the beauty of a presidential villa, a wealthy elderly man and his close associates sit in deep anxiety. The atmosphere is heavy — their 4-year-old granddaughter, Noor, was kidnapped five days ago. Despite delivering the ₦100 million ransom the abductors demanded, there has been no word, no release, no follow-up. Everyone in the room is shaken, especially Khaleel, Noor’s father, who has refused to eat or sleep, overcome with guilt and fear for his daughter’s safety.
Khaleel, a strong but broken man, is torn between following the kidnappers’ instruction not to involve security forces and the desperation to find his child. His father, Senate President Alhassan Mangal, finally decides to act and calls in the best secret task force led by Miss Hawwa, a fearless, brilliant female criminologist known for rescuing high-profile kidnapping victims.
Meanwhile... Who is Zynah?
Zynah is a young maid working in the house of Hajiya Khursum, a wealthy woman in Abuja. Zynah's journey is filled with hardship. Originally from Kano, her father, Malam Shehu, is the Imam of their village. Due to a family scandal involving her stepsister Zainab, Amina (the real victim) is wrongly accused of immorality and is banished from the village by her own father to protect his reputation.
Amina ends up in Wudil and later in Abuja, where she is brought to serve in Hajiya Khursum's home. Despite the difficult environment — Hajiya is harsh and judgmental — Zynah (Amina) tries to maintain her dignity and focus on survival.
In the household, Bakura, Hajiya’s son, takes a questionable interest in Zynah. He often tries to take advantage of her when the house is empty, which puts her in uncomfortable situations. Zynah is clearly distressed by this, but feels trapped due to her situation and lack of power or family support.
One day, after being cornered again by Bakura, a knock comes at the door — it’s Am’abuwa, Bakura’s sister, announcing that the family has returned. Zynah scrambles to hide, and Bakura quickly covers for her by claiming he hadn't seen her. Suspicion rises when Zynah is missing from the living room where she was supposed to be. Tension builds, but Bakura tries to deflect.
