Tun Ina Warama Part 1 Complete Hausa Novel
As I slowly rose from bed, I stared at the ring on my finger. A soft sigh escaped my lips, followed by a visible smile. I let my feet touch the floor and hugged a nearby pillow, allowing myself to drift into the usual world of thoughts.
The scent of his perfume hit me, confirming his presence. Before I even turned, his voice greeted me. "Assalamu alaikum," he said. I dropped the pillow and answered gently, "Come in, yayana."
Yusuf entered with his usual charm. "Hawwa, are you okay?" he asked.
"I'm fine," I replied quietly.
He raised an eyebrow. "You haven't prepared for school. Aren't you going today?"
"I'll get ready now," I answered, surprised he was done already.
Torn Between Love and Duty
He asked me seriously, "You know how much I value your education, right?"
I nodded.
"I'm waiting. Don't waste time," he added before leaving.
I rushed to get ready and wore a blue-patterned atamfa with a matching veil. I sprayed my perfumes, grabbed my phone and bag, and headed to the living room.
There he was, speaking with Umma. But as he saw me, his expression changed.
"Umma! When will this girl understand she's a married woman?!"
The Painful Truth
Umma raised her voice, warning him to stop.
"Give her a divorce or I’ll take action," she said fiercely.
Yusuf quietly cried. I stood still, pained. This wasn’t new. I hated how this always unfolded. He approached me, but I ran to my room, crying. Locking the door, I threw myself onto the bed.
"Hawwa! Please come out! We’ll be late!" he begged from outside.
I ignored him until Umma yelled, "Yusuf, leave my house before I take action!"
He left silently.
A Mother’s Protection
I watched him drive away from the window. Umma knocked. I opened the door, and she pulled me to sit.
"Hawwa, don’t go back to Yusuf," she said.
Tears welled in my eyes. "He’s your son..."
"Yes," she replied, "but he’s wrong. I raised you like my own daughter, and I won’t allow this injustice."
She continued, "Forget him. From now on, take any car you like and stop crying for Yusuf."
I nodded but whispered inside, “Forgive me, Umma, but Yusuf is in my blood.”
Yusuf’s Regret
Yusuf sat in his car, broken. Everyone blamed him, even his own family. He reached his office—Y.B. Distribution Company. Staff welcomed him, but he barely responded.
He settled in, distracted, until he called someone. "I’m in my office. Meet me."
Meanwhile, Jamila, his second wife, left for the hospital. She tried to visit Yusuf’s section but found it locked. Frustrated, she muttered, "He’s with that witch again."
A Determined Heart
I washed my face again. Staring into the mirror, I saw someone beautiful—not because of makeup, but natural blessings. I smiled.
Alhamdulillah, I whispered.
Despite Umma’s plea, my heart refused to let go. But I would respect her words. I had to stay strong... for myself.
