ABOUT THIS BOOK

Description

The Stay Classy Boutique and Zarah’s Grand Entrance

Stay Classy Boutique is an exceptional clothing line and fashion design mall — a massive 10-storey building divided into sections, each designer having a personal site featuring varieties of classy and expensive products.

These are top-class designers: Wengers, Chanel, Zarah, Gucci, Fendi, Bvlgari, Salvatore Ferragamo, Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, YSL, Dior, Michael Kors, Armani Cavalli, Italian suits and tuxedos, Tom Ford, Turkish gowns and jackets, suits, Mariya Zakir materials/Blairs collections, Turkish tettesurr, and more.

The entire building is constructed with striated curved glass and steel. Above the front glass door sits a large “Stay Classy Boutique” logo mounted on a shiny silver plate.
The place is so glamorous that only first-class customers shop there.

9:15 a.m., Friday

A suspicious-looking black BMW drove into the mall premises, customized with “ZARAH MJ” on the dashboard area.
Her driver, dressed in a force-like uniform, rushed out to open the door for her. Before she even turned fully toward him, she was already holding her expensive matte black iPhone XI, scrolling calmly.

Everyone stood still, waiting.
After about three minutes, she placed her foot down… wearing 6-inch high-heel shoes. She walked elegantly while her assistants followed behind with her bag and extra phones.

She looked stunning in a champagne-gold skirt and a red silk top that revealed her classy, polished, and beautiful body structure.

Employees stood aligned in navy-blue and white uniforms, greeting her.
As usual, she didn’t respond to anyone. With heavy makeup and straight expression, her face was hidden behind sharp, luxurious goggles.

She maintained her slow, graceful walk, answering a phone call without glancing at anyone.
The moment she entered her office, she dialed her secretary with a proud voice:

“Send Jennifer in now.”

She hung up immediately and stood by the glass window.

Within five minutes, two people entered together:
Faiza Suleiman — her closest friend — and Jennifer, her worker, dressed in a simple black abaya.

Zarah shot them a short, sharp look and turned away.
Faiza frowned. “Babe, what is this thing doing here? She’s embarrassing people with her village attitude.”

Before Zarah could reply, Jennifer nervously greeted, “Good evening, madam…”

Zarah snapped.
“Shut up your dirty mouth! Of course you said evening — because you are so dull and stupid you can’t even differentiate morning from night!”

“I’m sorry, madam,” Jennifer bowed fearfully. This wasn’t the first time she had been summoned to receive a query.

Zarah hissed. “Save it.”
She threw a letter at her.
“Pick it. Get out of here. I’m firing you. Do you think you can come here and mess with my clients just because you think you’re good at your job?”

Jennifer fell on her knees. “Madam, please… forgive me.”

Faiza rolled her eyes. “Sorry for yourself. Acting like a boss because people praise your work? Mtswww…”

After several insults, Faiza finally said, “Babe, let’s give her one last chance. We can still manage her. But if she messes up again, she’s going to the toilet-cleaners’ section.”

Jennifer, already used to their threats, thanked them with fake tears and left.

Zarah exhaled loudly.
“Oh my God, I’m so pissed off. No peace in the office — and now my mother-in-law is back again? That woman is so annoying!”

Faiza widened her eyes. “Your mum-in-law came back? Hmm… anyway, why are you stressing yourself? Just live your life and don’t let her disturb you or your husband Majeed.”

Zarah muttered inside, husband? tsk…
Then said openly, “I don’t have time for any of them.”

She grabbed her large matte-black Apple iPad.
“Anyway, new clothing collections are arriving from Italy today. I can’t wait to see them.”

Faiza brightened. “Really? Nice!”

They both smiled and continued chatting until Zarah finally closed for the day and headed home.

The Luxurious Neighborhood and Captain MJ’s Mansion

Ogbadu Road, Badarawa — Kaduna State, 11:13 p.m.

This is a neighborhood of extremely wealthy and highly respected personalities — not only in Nigeria but internationally.
Armed-forces security patrols the area, signifying that these are the homes of top military figures.

On the street where the mansion of the famous General Wushishi stands, there is another grand residence. At the gate, a shining gold plate reads:

“Cpt. MJ. Shamud Residence.”

The environment is beautifully decorated with flowers and landscape designs.

Inside stands a mansion with 13 full bedrooms, each with jacuzzi-fitted bathrooms, 5 large furnished parlours, and a 45-foot royal dining table surrounded by elegant floral décor.

There is a fully equipped gym, a classy snooker hall, and three luxury swimming pools of different shapes.
The garage holds various expensive modern cars, some parked under shaded areas.

From inside, a tall, healthy man with white hair towel around his neck stepped out, wiping his silky black hair.
His six-pack chest and broad wings made him impossibly attractive — young, charming, and strong.

This is Captain Abdul Majeed Shariff Mahmud, 31 years old — the only son of Marshal Shariff Mahmud, a Nigerian ambassador to France and the former Soviet Union, and his Nigerian-Turkish wife, Hajiya Janan Nasir.
Their family logo “SHAMUD” stands for Shariff Mahmud.

He had been raised with love, discipline, and privilege. Since childhood he was called Captain MJ, later undergoing military training and excelling greatly — following in his father’s footsteps.

Life didn’t trouble him; he grew vibrant and enthusiastic. His father was his role model until he passed.

While Captain Majeed was in Hong Kong for a course, he met Zarah Abubakar, who was 26.
Beautiful, classy, and raised in luxury, Zarah lived with her grandmother Hajiya Rabi’atu — wife of a former Senator — in Maitama, Abuja.

Spoiled and heavily Westernized, she grew up believing she ruled the world.

She completed her studies, returned to Nigeria, and married Captain MJ.
They’ve been married for four years.

After Marshal Shariff’s death, Majeed was appointed the youngest Nigerian Captain commissioned officer in the U.S. Coast Guards, representing Nigeria.

He ranks above a Commander and below a Rear Admiral (Lower Half).

Highly respected, courageous, and intelligent, he carries great influence.
He barely goes to the field except when cases escalate; mostly he issues orders from home because of constant meetings and international travels with world-class personalities.

Their Worlds Collide

While Zarah runs her glamorous boutique empire with pride, Captain Majeed lives in a world of military prestige and global influence.

Both raised in power and privilege.
Both difficult in their own ways.
And both about to face a story much deeper than luxury, arrogance, or status…

Their worlds, though different, are tied together — and everything is only just beginning.
