ABOUT THIS BOOK
Description
Upon Saiyaru’s arrival inside the prison, after passing through eleven gates, he headed straight toward the interrogation room with a wicked smile on his face. As he reached the door of the room, the guards bowed and greeted him, but he did not even look at them. He shouted at them, saying, "Quickly, open the door for me to enter!" Hurriedly, one of the guards used the key, opened the door, and stepped inside. Little did he know, these guards were entirely fake, dressed in soldiers' uniforms; they were among the twenty soldiers that Imhal had selected to help them successfully escape from the prison.
When Saiyaru entered the room, he caught sight of Zauwadu sitting on the chair usually reserved for criminals, his hands and feet bound with chains, with a soldier standing over him, beating him with a club until his mouth and nose were broken and bleeding. Upon seeing this, Saiyaru burst into a wicked laugh, looked at the soldier, and said, "Stop there. Now, it is my turn to inflict my own torture on him. Oh, Zauwadu, know that today your end will be met at my hands, since you dared to break my law and cause another fight among the prisoners. Truly, today your corpse is meant for the fish in the sea." As soon as he finished speaking, he raised his club and advanced toward Zauwadu, intending to strike him on the head. Suddenly and unexpectedly, the soldier who was standing there caught Saiyaru off guard and smashed the club against his left ear. Instantly, Saiyaru slumped to the ground, unconscious.
When Saiyaru regained consciousness, he found himself sitting on the chair where prisoners are placed when they are to be tortured, with his hands and feet bound behind him. Imhal and Zauwadu were standing over him, dressed in soldiers' uniforms. As for Zauwadu, he had put on Saiyaru's clothes and dressed Saiyaru in his own prisoner's garb. When Saiyaru saw this, he burst into a wicked laugh, then scowled and said, "You have wasted your time for nothing, because you are not capable of escaping from this place. This is a house of death, a house where no prisoner can ever escape with their life. Even if you run away, you will be captured and brought back, if the coldness of the sea and its creatures do not destroy you first." After saying this, Saiyaru continued to let out a wicked laugh. In a fit of anger, Zauwadu raised Saiyaru's large club and smashed it onto his head. Instantly, Saiyaru's skull shattered, and his brains splattered out.
When they saw that Saiyaru was dead, Imhal looked at Zauwadu and said, "Well now, our entire success rests in your hands. Whatever happens, do not make the mistake of letting anyone realize that you are not Saiyaru. You must even alter your voice to sound like Saiyaru's, since you already resemble each other in face and body shape." Zauwadu bowed to Imhal and said, "O my friend and my leader in this house of death, I assure you that there will never be any problem from my end, except perhaps from our other twenty fellow prisoners whom we drew into this plan. I only want you to make me one promise." Upon hearing this, Imhal was surprised and asked, "What promise do you want me to make you?" Hearing this question, Zauwadu reached into his pocket, took out a golden chain, handed it to Imhal, and said,
