At the salon, Madina excitedly called out, "Come in, bride!" catching Shatima's attention. He looked up and locked eyes with Aliya. Startled, he stood abruptly but quickly composed himself and greeted her with charm. Trying to mask her curiosity, Aliya asked about the girl with Shatima. He calmly explained that she was one of his wives, Salma, whom he had married recently. Aliya was stunned, especially as Shatima mentioned he had married four women. Despite her internal jealousy, she maintained composure.
 
Aliya's Discovery
 
Curious about Salma's identity, Aliya sought answers. Shatima suggested a private chat outside. There, he explained Salma's background and how he married her out of compassion. Aliya was surprised he hadn’t informed her earlier. He assured her she was his main wife and promised no favoritism. She accepted his explanation outwardly but kept her reservations inside.

Meanwhile in Kano, Shatima's multiple weddings caused quite a stir. The neighborhood was abuzz with activity. The ceremonies were lavish, and each bride was treated differently. Nafisa, one of the brides, was escorted with emotional farewells. She was settled into Hajiya's quarters, indicating her favored status.
 
Aliya, in contrast, was placed in a more modest setting near the guests' lounge. Her reception, though respectful, lacked the grandeur given to Nafisa.
