A Visit to the Abba Sani Residence
 
In Saban Kawo, Kaduna, the prestigious Majalissu line was home to elite figures. Among them was Doctor Alhaji Abba Sani. On this day, he was lying restlessly on his large bed, clearly disturbed.
 
His wife, Hajiya Mariya, entered the room with a soft greeting, but received no response. Concerned, she walked in and sat beside him.
 
"Daddy Meenal, are you okay? You didn’t even notice I came in."
 
Alhaji Abba, a well-respected and calm man, finally looked up and smiled gently, trying to brush off her worry.
 
"There’s nothing wrong, maybe I just woke up not feeling the vibe of the day."
 
Still unconvinced, she pleaded with him to share his burden. He assured her he was fine and insisted they go eat breakfast together since he had patients waiting.
 
Breakfast and Meenal’s Absence
 
While eating, Abba Sani asked, "Where is my Meenal?"
 
"She left for school upset. You didn’t wake up to see her. If not for her exams, she might have refused to go," Mariya replied.
 
Smiling, he decided to surprise her at school.
 
A School Visit to Cheer Meenal
 
Abba Sani visited Meenal at her university. The moment she saw her father, she ran to hug him.
 
"Sweet daddy, you didn’t wake up this morning. I missed you!"
 
After a playful back-and-forth, she confessed she hadn’t eaten.
 
"Let’s go have breakfast together," he insisted.
 
She hesitated, citing her dislike for eating out, but he teased, "If you don’t eat with me now, no dinner with daddy tonight."
 
Reluctantly, Meenal agreed. At the restaurant, she initially refused the food, but seeing her dad eating, she followed.
 
Back Home – A Mother’s Concern
 
Upon returning home from school, Meenal flopped on the couch with a dramatic sigh.
 
"Meenal! How many times have I told you to greet when entering?" her mother scolded. Meenal, upset, pouted without replying.
 
Hajiya Mariya sighed, then calmly explained how important it was in Islam to give salaam.
 
Still moody, Meenal replied, "You could just remind me, not scold me."
 
"Fine," her mother said with a smile, "but I’ll keep reminding you."
 
When asked if she’d help with chores, Meenal responded, "Since you didn’t let daddy hire help, you’ll do the work yourself."
 
Hajiya Mariya teased, "When daddy comes, we’ll settle this. You must start helping out."
 
Evening Arrival of Abba Sani
 
At exactly 8:00 PM, Alhaji Abba returned home. Meenal, who had been waiting and dressed up for him, rushed to greet him.
 
"Welcome daddy," she said sweetly.
 
"I hurried so you wouldn’t get mad," he joked, letting her lead him to his room.
 
Her mother joined shortly after.
 
Dinner and Complaints
 
During dinner, Meenal served her father and herself.
 
"So I’m invisible?" her mother teased.
 
"Let me serve you," Abba offered.
 
After dinner, Mariya said, "Daddy Meenal, I have a complaint."
 
Surprised, he asked, "What did my Meenal do now?"
