Fatima and the Destiny of Love
 
Fatima is a young woman who doesn’t like hospitals—she finds them overcrowded and exhausting. But one day, she is forced to carry her sick younger sister, Amina, to the Ahmad Sani Special Hospital in Gusau due to a high fever.
 
As they wait their turn at the hospital, Amina leans on Fatima's lap, while Fatima uses her scarf to fan her gently. She feels helpless and worried, especially seeing how pale and weak Amina has become. Her heart aches with guilt, thinking perhaps she had neglected her sister's health by assuming it was just a minor fever.
 
Lost in thought and fear, Fatima is startled when a nurse calls her name—someone has paid for their consultation and wants them to be attended to immediately. Confused and curious, she asks who paid, but the nurse doesn’t answer. Fatima, now even more puzzled, takes Amina and follows.
 
Inside, they meet the doctor, a calm and well-mannered young man named Dr. Anas. He quickly attends to Amina, checks her temperature, and prescribes an injection and malaria test. Fatima thanks him shyly, still wondering who helped them jump the line.
 
Outside the doctor’s office, she asks again who helped her, but the nurse only smiles and gestures toward the corridor. There, she sees Dr. Anas again, now standing and watching her with quiet interest.
 
When Fatima tries to thank him, Dr. Anas kindly tells her there's no need—he did it out of humanity. He admits he’s noticed her since she came in, and something about her moved him. Fatima is speechless, overwhelmed by his gentle words.
