Aliyu’s Menace
Aliyu confronts Intisaar, demanding money and belittling her. She pleads for mercy, but he mocks her. Family members like Xainab and Momy intervene, yet Aliyu’s aggression persists. Intisaar’s fear intensifies as he threatens her physically, leaving her trembling.  
 
Unwanted Advances
Faruuq, a suitor, visits Intisaar, sparking jealousy in Aliyu. During a tense encounter, Aliyu corners Intisaar in the kitchen, accusing her of seduction. She escapes, but Aliyu’s rage follows. Family members scramble to mediate, yet Aliyu’s violence escalates, culminating in a brutal beating witnessed by Momy.  
 
Hospital Ordeal
Intisaar collapses from Aliyu’s abuse. The family rushes her to the hospital, where Faruuq and Haisam assist. Momy blames Aliyu, but he deflects responsibility. Abba, Intisaar’s father, pays for her treatment, exposing Aliyu’s financial neglect. Intisaar’s trauma deepens as she recovers silently.

Abba arranges Intisaar’s marriage to Aliyu against her will. She protests tearfully, but familial pressure silences her. The wedding proceeds, marked by Intisaar’s despair. Aliyu’s cold demeanor contrasts with Faruuq’s genuine concern, leaving Intisaar trapped in a loveless union.

Intisaar adjusts to her new home, isolated and monitored by Aliyu. Zainab, a maid, provides fleeting comfort. Aliyu’s sporadic appearances fuel Intisaar’s anxiety. She finds solace in prayer and household chores, but Aliyu’s explosive temper shatters any semblance of peace.  
 
Breaking Point
Aliyu violently attacks Intisaar after discovering spilled water in the kitchen. She screams for mercy, invoking Allah, but he nearly strangles her. Zainab intervenes, saving Intisaar. The incident leaves her physically and emotionally shattered, questioning her fate.  
 
Flicker of Hope
Faruuq secretly contacts Intisaar, vowing to rescue her. Momy and Xainab smuggle her necessities, but Aliyu’s surveillance tightens. Intisaar clings to faith, plotting escape. The story closes with her whispering prayers, determined to reclaim freedom.
