The Bold Statement
Iftahal was a confident and outspoken young woman studying at a university in the USA. One day, as she sat with her friends discussing love and marriage, she made a bold statement. "I will never marry any man here unless he can pay a bride price of 2.1 million naira today!" she declared proudly, convinced that no man would be able to meet such a demand.
Her friends laughed and warned her not to be too sure. "Be careful, Iftahal. You never know what can happen!" one of them said. But she dismissed their concerns, believing her words were just a joke.
An Unexpected Offer
To everyone’s shock, a mysterious young man named Maher Zaid overheard Iftahal’s declaration. He was from Egypt, the son of a powerful king, and incredibly wealthy. Without hesitation, he approached her and said, "I will pay the amount. Prepare yourself because our wedding is happening right now."
