Joda Falls Sick, Drags Emotions and Tension
 
Joda falls ill with a cold, fever, and headache. She tries to contact her doctor, but a nurse picks up and promises to inform him. While waiting, her grandmother (Gwaggo) comes in and scolds her for being sick again. Despite feeling unwell, Joda politely asks for fura (a traditional drink), which Gwaggo prepares with the help of Hasana.
 
Suddenly, the doctor arrives. Joda, embarrassed, quickly covers up and shyly greets him. Though he insists on giving her an injection, she resists until Gwaggo scolds her. Eventually, she agrees and reluctantly takes her medicine.
 
Shortly after, Abdallah arrives with chocolates for Joda. Gwaggo catches them in the act and becomes furious. She warns Abdallah that if he’s serious, he has one week to bring his family or else. Joda tries defending him, saying he hasn't crossed any boundaries, but Gwaggo slaps her and scolds her for being naïve in love.
 
Abdallah’s Silent Revenge and Secret Plan
 
Hurt by the humiliation from Gwaggo, Abdallah leaves angrily. At home, he vows to follow through on a secret plan within the one-week deadline. He smirks with determination, showing he has something in mind.
 
Ahmed Proposes a Surprising Match
 
Meanwhile, Ahmed visits his father to talk about marriage. He boldly announces he has found the woman he wants to marry — Mansura, his step-aunt (his stepmother’s younger sister). His father is shocked and refuses outright, calling the idea inappropriate and offensive.
 
Ahmed, however, remains stubborn. He declares he will never marry anyone else if he can’t marry Mansura. His father is disappointed but doesn’t stop him. Unbeknownst to him, Ahmed’s stepmother overhears the conversation and is thrilled, rushing to inform Mansura.

Mansura reacts with wild excitement at the idea of becoming Ahmed's wife. In a vulgar and seductive chat with her sister, she brags about her sensual tactics and how skilled she is with men. Her vulgarity shocks even her sister, who scolds her for lacking shame.
 
Dad and Abba Discuss Ahmed’s Decision
 
Ahmed’s father and uncle (Abba) sit down to address Ahmed’s stubbornness. Abba, though initially skeptical, supports Ahmed, saying there's no religious barrier to marrying Mansura. Ahmed is called into the meeting and stands firm that Mansura is the one he wants.
 
Eventually, Abba agrees to go ahead with the marriage proposal on Ahmed’s behalf, but warns him that after marriage, he’s on his own and they will not intervene in any issues. His father is disappointed but gives in reluctantly.
 
Ahmed Informs Mansura – Playful Banter Ensues
 
Excitedly, Ahmed calls Mansura to inform her that his uncle will come to ask for her hand. She is overjoyed and over-expressive, using romantic nicknames and flirty words that irritate Ahmed. He warns her not to go overboard with her excitement.
 
Frustrated with her attitude, he cuts the call and then phones his friend Mahmud to come over, promising to share the full story. On the way, Mahmud stops by a store to buy assorted chocolates, flowers, a love-themed greeting card, and a designer perfume for Joda — showing that his interest in her is growing stronger.
