ABOUT THIS BOOK

Description

When Amira entered Bintu’s parlor and saw that Faiz had already stepped out, she stood still, let out a deep sigh, and closed her eyes to compose herself before heading outside. Today, she was wearing high heels, so she was walking with the poise of a model.
Faiz, who was sitting inside the car, was silently praying that Amira hadn't noticed anything wrong with Bintu. He didn't want them to start having issues at all. He had seen Bintu's jealousy flare up; he knew she was jealous because Amira was working while she wasn't—he could see that envy in her. The moment he saw Amira walk out, he fixed his eyes on her face to gauge her reaction, wanting to see if Bintu had treated her badly or something. She had her usual expression on, but he could tell that something was bothering her. He loved her too much not to notice when she was disturbed, having truly come to understand her character. Within the two months they had spent together, he had discovered so many wonderful things about her, and he could swear that no woman could match her sweetness. He just wanted to sit there and stare at her walk; her stride was perfect, and she was so unique. Not once had she ever done anything to upset him, even though she would sometimes deny him intimacy—and he knew that was his own fault, because too much of everything is bad. If she only knew how he felt about her, perhaps she would give him a breather every now and then. He never knew he possessed such intense stamina until he married her; it was only with her that he realized sex was on a completely different level, and it was only with her that he discovered he never grew tired. Sometimes, even after releasing, he would still remain on top of her, unwilling to pull out until she had to push him away.
He didn't realize she had reached the car until he heard her open the door and climb inside. Her scent immediately hit his nostrils. He closed his eyes and let out a deep sigh, feeling completely fulfilled. He stole a quick glance at her face as he started the engine.
"Is she awake?..." he asked her, silently praying she would say yes.
Amira, knowing fully well that Bintu simply did not want to speak to her, replied shortly, "Yes..." keeping her head down. The way she answered made him realize she was lying.
"Liar..." he told her as he drove out of the gate.
Amira glanced at him, and just as he was about to look back at her, she quickly averted her gaze. Even now, she still couldn't bring herself to make proper eye contact with him—not after he had slept on top of her, or her on top of him, with her breast in his mouth. Only Allah knew the sheer shyness she felt toward this servant of God.
"Why would you say... I'm lying?..." she asked him, her head still cast down.
