ABOUT THIS BOOK

Description

Until they arrived. As they stepped out of the car, the soldiers jumped down from their vehicles and surrounded Jay and PG, with expressions that showed not a single ounce of mercy on their faces. In this manner, they proceeded all the way to the office of the doctor taking care of Iklas. Upon seeing them, the doctor stood up and shook hands with PG, since Jay looked completely exhausted. After they exchanged greetings, he said, "We want to see the baby, can we see her?" He fell silent for a moment as if analyzing something before saying, "Honestly, no, because your club and the Chief Minister came and picked her up. They transferred her to another hospital and left this behind, saying it should be given to Jay DG or you whenever you arrive." He concluded his sentence while handing over a piece of paper. He collected it and checked it, then looked at Jay and said, "They have taken her to London, Jay, to Doctor Jon's care. They said we should meet them there." Jay simply nodded his head without saying a word and turned around. They all turned back, returned to their vehicles, and headed straight to the airport, as Jay did not even allow them to return home first.
They boarded their private jet without further delay and headed for London. As for Aunty Mimi, she was completely terrified, only wishing to find out Iklas's current condition. Out loud, she cursed Salmah relentlessly, wishing Salmah were right in front of her so she could rip her apart, because Aunty Mimi placed absolutely no one above her children. In that state, they finally arrived in London, where they found a car that had been sent to pick them up, as their team members had only landed a short while before. They were driven straight to a massive hotel whose architectural design and luxury would be a waste of time to describe. Aunty Mimi simply followed them, and the same went for Jay, who could barely see straight, his only desire being to know the condition of his wife.
PG and Jalal showered and changed their clothes, but Aunty Mimi did not, and neither did Jay, as he felt they had already wasted too much time. The moment they finished, he stood up and said he was going to the hospital to see her. PG tried everything to make him rest, but he refused. Consequently, they went back outside and found a convoy of London soldiers surrounding the hotel. Upon seeing them, the soldiers saluted and quickly opened the vehicles provided by the government. Once they got inside, the doors were closed and they took off. Aunty Mimi witnessed a level of security today that not even a governor could secure.
When they arrived at the hospital, they were told that doctors were currently examining her and that they should wait a bit. Thus, reluctantly, they sat down alongside the Chief Minister in a designated private area, anxiously waiting for news. Five minutes into their wait, a secret service agent approached and greeted them. Aunty Mimi, Jalal, and PG responded, but Jay said nothing at all.
