ABOUT THIS BOOK

Description

The sound of a message notification entering her phone startled her. She quickly sat up from where she had been sitting and grabbed the phone. The saved contact name “My One” appeared on the screen.
She clicked her tongue softly as tears rolled down her cheeks. Resting her head on her knees, she burst into tears.
At that moment, a young woman entered the house. She was dark-skinned, of average height, and beautiful as well.
“Fadila, why are you in this condition? I’ve been greeting you for a while now, but you just sat there without answering.”
Fadila wiped her tears and looked up at her. In a trembling voice filled with regret, she said:
“Farry, I’m drowning in disaster… I’m trapped and ruined.”
Farry sat down beside her, deeply worried.
“Fadila, why? Please don’t say that. You should know that everything is from Allah, and whatever happens to you, you should return it to Him.”
Fadila wiped her tears again and looked at Farry.
“Farry… I have wronged myself. I betrayed my husband, my parents, and my entire life.”
Farry held her hand tightly.
“Look! Fadila, if you don’t tell me what’s wrong, wallahi I’m leaving right now.”
Fadila lowered her eyes, stood up, and turned her back.
“Farry, before I got married, I used to chat with someone called Adnan.”
Farry held her breath.
“Adnan… the one I know?”
“Yes, him. We started chatting on 2go and Facebook, then moved to WhatsApp, then IMO, and eventually video calls.”
She paused before continuing.
“Adnan became my closest online companion. If I didn’t talk to him, I couldn’t function. During video calls, he slowly pulled me in… he would ask me to remove my clothes, and he would remove his too. We talked about nothing except dirty and immoral things.”
Tears overwhelmed her again.
“Farry, this started before my marriage, and now I’ve been married for a whole year, but I still can’t stop. Any day I don’t video call Adnan, I feel like I’ll die. I lock myself in my room and cry till morning. Imagine—I have a husband, but I don’t even allow us to sleep in the same room. My phone is always locked with security codes.”
She sat down again and looked at Farry, who was staring at her in shock.
“Farry, I can’t continue like this. Please help me… I want to stop. Please.”
Farry held her hand while she too started crying.
“Fadila! Please tell me this is a dream and not reality.”
“Wallahi, Farida, it’s the complete truth. Please help me…”
Rashida
“Rashida!”
She raised her head and looked at the caller.
“Yes? Is there a problem?”
The young man smiled.
“I’ve been following you since school. You saw me and knew I was there, but you still ignored me.”
Rashida laughed mockingly and looked him up and down.
“Please! Wallahi I can never marry you. In fact, I don’t even like you. Just look at yourself—you’re not handsome, and you don’t even own a decent car. I want a handsome, rich man with a car.”
She hissed at him and walked past him into her house, slamming the door shut behind her.
The young man, Sani, shook his head and quietly walked home.
Fadila
Farry held her hand tightly as her body trembled.
“Please calm down. I’m in a hurry now, but Insha Allah I’ll come back so we can talk properly. And don’t tell anyone.”
Fadila nodded while wiping her tears. Farry stood up and left the house.
At that moment, Fadila’s phone rang again. Another text message from Adnan.
Her hand moved toward the phone, then stopped halfway. Her entire body shook as the phone started ringing—Adnan was now calling her directly.
Fear completely overtook her. She quickly turned the phone face down and turned away, crying harder.
Salma
Around 2 PM that day, Salma sat on a chair holding her phone. She was inside a WhatsApp group called “Cooking and Beauty.”
People were posting tips about body care, perfumes, and cooking tricks.
The sound of greetings made her raise her eyes. When she saw who entered, she adjusted herself and turned off her mobile data before looking at him.
“Welcome, my husband… my pride. If I don’t see you for just one hour, it feels like years have passed.”
He smiled warmly.
“My wife, my other half. Know that you own my heart completely. I’m always proud of you.”
She smiled back.
“Let me bring your food.”
She stood up and walked to the kitchen while he picked up her phone and began checking her WhatsApp. Just then, she returned with food—rice and vegetable soup—and opened a cola drink for him.
“So this is where they teach you cooking and beauty tips?” he teased.
She smiled.
“Well, every group has its own benefit. Didn’t I tell you there’s even another group called ‘He Who Asks Questions Never Misses the Way’? Honestly, they post very meaningful things. It’s almost like attending school.”
He winked at her.
“Salma, I thank Allah every day for giving me such a good wife. Now let me eat so I can bathe before leaving again tomorrow morning.”
“Yes sir,” she replied playfully.
In that house, they lived happily, peacefully, and lovingly. Neither of them lacked care or respect for the other.
Fadila
At exactly 9 PM, Fadila sat in the sitting room watching TV when someone hugged her tightly from behind.
In a soft voice, she said: “Zaid, please… what is this?”
He smiled.
“Fadila, didn’t we marry for love? It’s been one whole year, yet you still act distant from me like I’m a stranger.”
She softened slightly.
“Wallahi, Zaid, it’s not like that… I just haven’t been feeling well.”
He quickly turned her to face him.
“Fadila, what’s wrong? Sorry. Come, let’s go rest. Your body even feels hot.”
He held her hand and led her into the bedroom, covered her with a blanket, switched off the light, and left.
But less than ten minutes later, she woke up and switched the light back on because Adnan was calling her. She locked the room door and answered.
Both stared silently at each other through the screen until Adnan spoke:
“Fadila… my one… please talk to me.”
She looked at him tearfully.
“Adnan, please leave my life. I’m a married woman now.”
Adnan smiled softly.
“I know that, but you know I love you deeply too. Please stop saying that. Right now, I just want you to give me a kiss.”
She stared at him as tears flowed down her face.
“Adnan, please… leave me alone.”
Concern appeared on his face.
“Baby, please don’t cry. When you cry, it feels like my own blood is flowing out. Come here, let me hug you.”
Adnan continued whispering sweet words to her until she gave in once again.
Rashida
Rashida sat with her phone, deeply focused on a group called “Novels World.”
She typed: “Ummi Aisha, we’re waiting please continue Sanadin Gata.”
Three minutes later, pages 30–35 were posted.
She smiled and typed: “Thanks.”
After reading the episode, she smiled dreamily.
“I will never marry unless he’s handsome like Haydar from Khaleesat, and I’m already in love with Anas (Blue Eyes)… and I want someone rich like Barraq.”
Her face twisted slightly.
“Ya Allah, fulfill my dreams,” she whispered before continuing her chatting.
